Join our team and see what it means to truly BE aMAYzing MayInstitute is looking for an Assistant Residential Director for our Adult Services Division in Western, Ma.
The Assistant Residential Director will work directly with the Residential Director, Program Coordinators and Direct Care Staff, ensuring the quality of all aspects of the residential program by adhering to May Institute Policies and Procedures.
This is a full-time position and would require flexibility in work schedule, including some evenings and occasional weekend or overnight hours.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the direct supervisor of the Program Coordinators Schedule and document supervision of Program Coordinators to review quality assurance standards, staff training, staff scheduling, budgeting, and financial audits for each residence.
Coordinate supervision of residences in Program Cluster Regularly attend meetings including administrative, quality improvement, clinical, ISP, etc.
Manage significant incident reports and ISP entries in accordance with HCSIS Responsible for being on call during all residential significant incidents in conjunction with the Residential Director Assume assigned responsibilities when Program Coordinators are not present in residences Manage time cards, time off requests, etc.
Manage any residential vacancies with Program Coordinators, maintaining budgeted vacancy percentages Coordinate performance feedback with Human Resources, Program Coordinators, and residential staff including warnings and terminations Perform monthly program audits Work with corporate Quality Improvement office to meet licensure and accreditation requirements Develop training programs for Program Coordinators for ISP, management, supervisors, and financial management of residence.
Complete and maintain required trainings such as CPR, First Aid, Safety Care, Privacy and Security, OSHA, Human Rights, Compliance, MAP training, and Defensive Driver training Conduct yearly performance evaluations for all residential staff and Program Coordinators Familiarity with HCSIS Requirements:
Three years of residential experience in the field of Human Services Three years of Supervisory experience Experience with ISP development Bachelor's degree in the related field preferred Experience using HEXIS electronic database Current MAP, CPR, and First Aid Certifications preferred aMAYzing Employee
