Our housekeeping team is responsible for the cleaning and sanitization of our resident's home.
We are currently seeking two individuals with daytime and/or evening availability to come onboard in a per diem capacity to cover shift openings and vacation days.
The Housekeeper/Aide provides cleaning services to provide a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents, staff and the public.
Housekeeping services provided are maintained in accordance with facility policies and procedures and consistent with state and federal laws and regulations to maintain an environment that enhances the quality of life for residents.
Requirements:
Prior experience in a nursing home environment with general housekeeping, floor care, heavy environmental cleaning Freedom from illegal use of drugs Freedom from use and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace, and during work hours Persons who have been found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting, or mistreating Individuals in a health care related setting are ineligible for employment in this position Utilizes effective time management skills Education and/or
Experience:
Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
Prior housekeeping experience in an institutional setting preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
