A manufacturing company located in the Springfield, MA area is actively seeking an Accounting Manager for an immediate opening.
Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and banking functions.
The Accounting Manager will perform the following:
Responsibilities:
Customer invoicingCollectionsProcess credit applicationsVendor billingBill payProvide management with financial reportsEnsure entries are posted to correct accountsEnsure audit controls are in placeOversee all banking activitiesReconciliationsPay sales taxEnsure compliance with state and federal agencies
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance3
years experienceQuickBooks Desktop experienceWell organized, detail oriented, self starterExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCompensation Package:
