About the position
We are seeking an Senior Civil Engineer to work with Project Managers on a variety of infrastructure and community development projects throughout the state including land development; green and sustainable infrastructure; and municipal engineering and permitting.
As a member of a project team, this professional will play a key role plan preparation efforts, including plan development, grading, utility and drainage design. The Civil Engineer will also act as an Assistant Project Manager and will be responsible for coordinating field investigations, various project tasks including project deliverables; preparing proposals and task authorizations; coordinating with clients; monitoring project schedules and budgets; and coordinating project teams. This professional must demonstrate a proven track record of working both independently on small assignments and as a part of a large team on multidisciplinary projects.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Typically requires 8-12 years of relevant experience
EIT registration required; PE registration a plus
Advanced skills in AutoCAD Civil3d, Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience with preparing proposals and project budgets is a plus
Experience with construction and/or land surveying is a plus
Intermediate skills in HydroCAD or StormCAD are a plus
