Entry level Graphic Designer and Production Coordinator
Job Summary
Using current knowledge of the principles and practices of the design process, the Graphic Design & Production Coordinator will develop and execute a cutting-edge, brand experience across multiple formats and media. Reporting to the Creative Manager, the Graphic Designer and Production Coordinator will be responsible for helping to ensure that brand consistency is achieved, schedules are met, and costs are managed.
Graphic Design
o Help to develop and design graphic content for print and digital media for all departments
o Produce essential proposal and technical documents
o Ensure that all materials uphold design standards and ensure consistent branding, maintaining appropriate templates as needed
o Proof and prepare graphic files for production
Print Production
o Coordinate the on-time production of all materials, preparing files appropriately for each client and vendor partners
o Review all deliverables for quality control purposes
o Work with printers and other vendors to get bids and negotiate prices
o Track inventory of printed materials
o Maintain vendor and order history binder for future reference
Photography
o Resize and edit photos
o Manage the photography database, fulfilling all photo requests
o Update and maintain the database with new photos, track when new photos are needed, archive older images.
o Assist with photo shoots when necessary.
Web Design and Production
o Provide graphic design and production as directed by Graphics Manager
o Continue to learn about website design to build and improve skills in this area
Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media Advertising or related field.
o Entry level (up to five years of experience)
o Fluency in the Adobe Creative Suite of design software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Premiere, After Effects)
o Strong graphic design skills
o Highly proficient computer skills with demonstrated knowledge and practical application Microsoft Office including of Outlook, Word, Excel and other software programs
o Familiarity with production standards for traditional print, large-format and digital graphics
o Marketing and advertising agency experience/internships strongly preferred
o Experience with photography, web design and/or video editing a plus
o Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly
o Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage multiple and shifting priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure
o Ability to produce high volume work with short deadlines
o Understanding of brand and the outdoors industry

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
