ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking an entry level Transportation Engineer to work with Project Managers on a variety of roadway design projects including: roadway reconstruction and improvements; downtown streetscapes and complete streets; community development projects; and traffic operations and improvements.
As a member of a project team, this professional will play a role in plan preparation efforts, including plan development, grading, utility and drainage design. The Transportation Engineer should have a well-rounded academic experience with internship and course curriculum in transportation and/or civil engineering. Candidates with exposure to transportation and traffic are preferred. This position will be exposed to a diverse project portfolio and will have the opportunity to obtain a PE designation.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
0-2 years experience - new grads welcome to apply
Beginner to intermediate skills in AutoCAD, Civil3d, Microsoft Word and Excel
Exposure to construction and/or land surveying, or municipal internship is a plus
GPA 3.0 or above required
